Viva la Art

I had a great time at the I ♥ Art auction on Tuesday night in NYC!  It is always fun to be in the midst of people who are passionate about a cause.  The Children's Museum of the Arts is a wonderful program committed to the growth and education of children through the arts.  

The evening was kicked off with cocktails and a silent auction which could garner you a great piece of art for quite a bargain!  The highlight of the evening was witnessing the guest auctioneer, Simon de Pury in action.  Through his charm and wit he was able to persuade those who were bidding to dig deeper.  

It was a special evening that reminded me that art is an expression, allowing us to connect with the child in all of us.

 A Parker snakeskin dress and BB Dakota blazer, accesorized with the Nikki Jaggs belt puts a bit of an urban twist in your usual Sunday brunch get-up.

For a birthday celebration, pair a Factory draped blazer and Joie white tank with the high waisted Gestuz mini skirt and multi-chain necklace.
