That footer would kick arse to techno music. I love the techno music! I think you just aren't pleased with it because it's yours. I know I am not fully pleased with mine. But I keep getting compliments on it, so I guess it is good.

Unfortunately I-485 class action is more complicated (different types of immigrant visas, different statutes, etc.). The only one I know of, ImmigrationPortal.Com v Ridge (03-cv-02606, District of Columbia, was not certified as class. Also, ACLU have little interest in pushing I-485 lawsuit as there is no immediate benefit, GC holders cannot vote. This may be another action item for IV - Immigrationportal suit failed in part because there was no organization behind the suit. Right now the majority is concerned about EAD/AP, but if FBI name check does not change, the wait can be decades based on the volume of applications and current "efficiency" of the FBI NNCP.

But what if the company doesnot have any more requirement when my GC gets approved. Its takes 4-5 years and conditions may change as per time...?

Is the Nebraska Service Center fast or is there any other center that is fast. I am filing 140 and 485 together so kindly advice. Also, I would be getting married in 5 months in India and my Wife would come with me after that. Can I include her after she comes here? Is there anything that I would be aware off. Please advice. Myy EAD is expiring and Renewal is taking more than 1 year as per new processing times.
Can I switch back to H1-B. I am in EAD and I dont have any H1-B status now. I have used 5 1/2 years of h1B previously. Six years is not utilized
What are pros and cons..

First try to get a copy of your approved EB3 I-140 through FOIA request with USCIS, this could be a time consuming task. If you are lucky you might get this in 30 days. But heard in the forum that it was even lesser than 30 days they got a copy.
Once you have the copy of I-140, If by the EB3 PD, EB2 is current, then file I-485 with copy of both I-140 (EB3 and EB2) and request for interfiling( refer to my blog post) That is the best bet for you I see now.

GENSCN is right, Logically you should receive the EAD after you give the biometrics. Current trend, people are receiving EADs before finger printing. I received EAD before FP.

The irony in the current schizophrenic EB immigration policy is that, it is ironically the more talented, qualified and marketable and entrepreneural talent that is more likely to look at US immigration policy and call it a day. It is conversely the mediocre talent that would be inclined to "stick it out" and deal with all the crap.

He is anti illegal immigration and recently made comments about illegals which created a furore (albeit among illegals and pro-amnesty groups, but they were heard). He might want to align with us to show he is pro-immigration.
Come on members, let's work out a campaign to gain his attention. He wants to be a champion, so let's give him a cause.

While filing the forms for 485/EAD/AP and I-693 ( medical report ) i saw a field for A number
Which number must i put in the field

I am from Africa..my Priority date is 9-2004 - Labor, and I 140 approved. havent filed the 485 yet - But i guess I will....So my question was if i get married like in Dec or so...can i apply for the GC for my wife...Thanks! Cheers..Just joined today.....this site rocks!

Please do not spread a bad word about Indian companies. Infact 90% of us are working for Indian companies and we very much know we can not go with others due to the fact that experience or openness or waterver the reasons I don't like to mention here. I hope you can understand my request. Thanks.
